What is STEAM THEME you may ask…

Once upon a time I was obsessed with something that is generally referred to as SteamPunk.

This is NOT that genre!

Yes, the MC in A Reluctant Assassin is… an assassin, but there is absolutely nothing punk about any part of the series… so I came up with a NEW name, and a NEW sub-genre!

And yes, my artistic bent demanded that I come up with an awesome LOGO to go with my NEW sub-genre! You’ll see it again – featured on the back cover on every novel in the series.

For anyone who does NOT know anything about this genre –

The story takes place in the future, in a war-torn society that is struggling to rebuild and move on.

The society is highly advanced but not in ways we are familiar with – however, since they are war-torn, the technology is often hard to come by.

They use steam to power many things but in ways never before thought of – and with amazing results.

They have also reverted to a Victorian-type style of dress. They say fashion has a way of coming back around…
