Reminded of my youth. Who else misses the classics?

Who remembers those old Looney Tunes cartoons?

This afternoon, my kids discovered a collection of Looney Tunes on DVD I bought years ago. At the time, they had no interest in them but for some reason, this afternoon, they did.

They probably watched every single one of them at least twice and I haven’t heard them laugh so hard in a long time. Music to my ears! And BONUS! I had time to write while they laughed!

ATTENTION New cartoons: Take a page out of the book of these “classic” cartoons!

It is possible to be funny without being nasty or too obvious! There is nothing funny about being inappropriate! And my young children do not need any more ideas about how to misbehave.

I miss the days of Bugs Bunny, Road Runner and Daffy Duck.

I don’t care how popular they are. My family is perfectly happy without SpongeBob, the Simpsons and Robot Chicken. BLECH!
