The most recent Marvel phenomenon is a perfect example of this frightening new trend of twisting LOVE. It’s just another in a long line of movies (and books… sadly) that are twisting LOVE into a sick, cruel, unrecognizable beast that hungers only for self and instant gratification.
There is an unfortunately well-known series of books made into movies (that is actively working to destroy Valentine’s Day) which really fueled this trend – and it is one of the worst offenders in my own personal opinion.
We all know that Hollywood has no moral compass, and they are only interested in the payday when it comes to which projects they accept.
So, it’s no wonder that these types of movies keep getting made.
And unfortunately, this trend is only serving to confuse and entrap the younger generation – and to confuse and estrange the older generations.
And, sadly, the Marvel universe is adding to the trend now…
This article states almost exactly what I’ve said all along.
Only in a twisted fictional world where the laws of reality have been shaped only to meet a proposed ending (that literally could have been avoided a million different ways), can this work.
